Oh yeah, I have a blog.

I can' t bring myself to post too often. I think about posting all the time, but don't have anything to say in my opinion. Nothing cool anyways. I'll try to slap together something right now.

I've been losing what seems like forever. Lost my bankroll in fact. Played freerolls after that, winning $10 or $20 here and there. Then I'd lose it again, lol. Finally I'm back on a winning streak, small but good. I've paid back people that loaned me money and I'm sitting at close to $100 in my Stars account now. I'm just going to keep playing my game, not worry about winning or losing and see what happens. It's been working great for me the last few days. I've been doing well in the $6.50 turbo sng's in particular. Oh yeah, I played $1/$2 limit HE last night for about six hands and won $38, lol. Hit and run baby, yeahh.

There's another thing that's been helping me win. I started winning as soon as I made this very important change, and I'm willing to share it with you. Jessica Simpson wallpaper! She has made all the difference in the world. I love that woman. I swear to you, as soon as I changed from my old wallpaper to her, I started winning. It was like all I had to do was look at her for a few seconds and my spirits were uplifted and I was ready to whoop ass on the felt. So, Jessica Simpson, I want to thank you and if you read this leave me a comment so we can hook up and I'll buy you an ice cream cone with my fat wad of $1 bills.

Another thing that has helped my game is a book I read called "Zen and the Martial Arts" by Joe Hyams. I'm going to leave you with this excerpt as told by Bruce Lee to the author that helped put my learning potential into perspective:
"Let me tell you a story my sifu told me. It's about a Japanese Zen master who received a university professor who came to inquire about Zen."
"It was obvious to the master at the start of the conversation that the professor was not so much interested in learning about Zen as he was in impressing the master with his own opinions and knowledge. The master listened patiently and finally suggested they have tea. The master poured his visitor's cup full and then kept on pouring."
"The professor watched the cup overflowing until he could no longer restrain himself. 'The cup is overfull, no more will go in.' "
" 'Like this cup,' the master said 'you are full of your own opinions and speculations. How can I show you Zen unless you first empty your cup?' "
Bruce studied my face. "You understand the point?"
"Yes," i said. "You want me to empty my mind of past knowledge and old habits so that I will be open to new learning."
"Precisely," said Bruce. "And now we are ready to begin your first lesson."

Keep your cup empty, poker success demands constant adaptation and learning.
